Product Description
Autoflo 40EP humidifier filter for your AutoFlo whole house humidifier. The original filter had a plastic frame around it. Unfortunately the plant no longer includes the plastic frame so you MUST reuse the original plastic frame and install it on the new humidifier filter.

NOTE: This item must be replaced at least once per year. Washing it out to try to reuse it is not recommended.

The only thing that ticks me off on these filters, is that the frame is no longer included. This means that you have to remove the old filter from the rubberized frame, breaking off all of the flaking calcium, then you have to soak the frame in vinegar or Lime Away over night before you can slide the new filter into it.
